Frederick Leon Jackson, 74, of Clover Dew Dairy Road, Princeton, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Beckley Healthcare Center. Born December 21, 1949, in Bradford County, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald Jackson and Helen Stowell Jackson. After graduating High School, Fred enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served his country proudly until retirement. His family was first and foremost in his life, he loved them dearly. He relocated to Princeton upon his retirement to be closer to his family. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Galford Jackson; son, Erik Mathew Jackson; and sister, Karen Hillis. Those left to cherish his memory, his loving children, Kenneth Jackson, Wendy Bel Tran Delrio, and McKenzie Capaldo; grandchildren, Kari Jackson of North Carolina, Olivia Jackson, Katelyn Jackson, and Isaac Jackson, all of Princeton. In honoring his wishes, Fred was cremated and no service will be held at this time. His cremains will be interred in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. The Jackson family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
