Fred Jonathan Wild, 83, of Athens, WV passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his residence. Born November 4, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred Wild and Celia Czarkowski Wild. Fred worked at  Mobil Chemical as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist. He was of Jehovah Witness faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Irene Kennedy Wild.

Survivors include his children, Freddie (Fred) Jonathan Wild, II, and Alfred "A.J." Jonathan Wild; grandchildren, Cathyleen Irene Wild; great grandchildren, Zoei, Zalia, and Zavaya.The family will honor his Fred's wishes, he will be cremated with a service to be held later.
