Francis Wayne Aisquith, 84, of Pipestem, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Beckley Healthcare Center. Born January 24, 1939, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Albert Francis Aisquith and Elsie Gertz (Aisquith) Ward. Wayne was a graduate of Annapolis High School, class of 1957. After graduating, Wayne served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Following his service, he worked 30 years for  C&P telephone company as a Cable Splicer before retiring. During his retirement, Wayne enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an antique car and antique tractor enthusiast. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Gaug. Left to cherish Wayne's memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Jackie  McElroy Aisquith; daughters, Elizabeth Schultz and husband, Rick, of Florida, and Jessica Obrochta and husband, Michael, of North Carolina; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
