Floyd (Punky) Mack Bennett Jr. 65 of Matoaka passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024. Born March 19, 1958 he was the son of the late Floyd Mack Bennett and Evelyn Taylor Bennett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Basil Bennett and one sister Rita Cornelius. Punky is survived by his companion of eight years Tina Binder; children, Steven Allen Bennett (Melissa), Christopher Shaun Bennett (Tonya), Robert Lee Floyd Bennett (Gwendolyn); grandchildren, Bo Bennett, RaeLynn Bennett, Christopher Bennett, Sara Bennett, Mallory Bennett and Gary Bennett; great grandchildren Hazel and Sophia Bennett; sister, Freda Dingess, brother, Calvin Bennett, Sr. and many aunts uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private service at the Bennett Family Cemetery.
