Faye East, age 80, devoted wife and mother, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 27, 2023, surrounded by those who love her dearly. She was born June 3, 1943, in Princeton, WV, to the late Ervin and Dorothy Poole. She had 7 siblings, of which she stepped into the mother role for when she was only 13 years old, after her mother passed away. Faye has spent her entire life caring for so many that she loved. She was married to the love of her life, Randall for 63 years. They had 5 sons and she loved each of them endlessly. She also provided care for several children over an 18 year span from her in home daycare. Faye was a devout Christian and has faithfully attended various churches in her lifetime for the past 60 years. Most recently attending Christian Mission Church for the past 12 years. She will always be remembered first and foremost as a woman of God but she will also be remembered for her strength, love, dedication, and faithfulness. She was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Matthew East, her parents, and 7 siblings. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Randall her sons and daughter in-laws, Wayne (Ruth) East, Russell East, Greg (Barby) East and Shannon (Fran) East; Her 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, of which she was so proud of; Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Although life will never be the same without her, it brings great comfort knowing her body has been restored and she is at peace in the presence of her Lord. Funeral services to celebrate the life Faye East will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor and friend, Michael Bishop officiating.  Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
