Emily Stacy Duncan, 26, of Stewart Street, Welch, died unexpectedly, Monday, January 30, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Born, November 26, 1996, in Radford, she was the daughter of Michelle Leigh Nance Gillman and the late Jimmy Duncan. Emily was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Emily was a graduate of Mt. View High School. She was attending nursing school. Emily was full of life and vigor, who loved to plan parties all around holidays and for her son's birthdays. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Earl Ray Nance. Left to cherish her memory are mother, Michelle Nance Gillman; Her son, Jace Tyler Green; Two sisters, Ryleigh Gillman, Julia Epperson; Grandmother, Frances Nance; John Harsanyne who was like her dad. Cousins and several friends also survive. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Emily Duncan will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, February 3, 2023, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Mary Lambert officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
