Elizabeth Jane Tabor Smith, 74, of Butternut Drive, Princeton, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. Born October 23, 1949, in Falls Mills, VA, she was the daughter of the late Solomon Pink Tabor and Alma Zane Wagner Tabor. Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her Lord and was a faithful member of Cornerstone Family Church in Princeton. Jane was a graduate of Graham High School and took some advanced business education classes. Jane retired from Frontier Communications with over 25 years of service where she worked in various departments. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, but most of all she really enjoyed quilting blankets, especially baby blankets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Paul Bailey, 2nd husband, Samuel Young and 3rd husband of 29 years, Donald Lee Smith, four brothers, Charles Addison "Buddy" Tabor, Carrol "Dean" Tabor, Solomon Pink Tabor, Jr. and Jack Roland Tabor, Jr., five sisters, Shirley Jean Murakami, Charlotte Ann Ramsey, Judith Elaine White, Nancy Gale Smothers and Thelma Thompson. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bridget Victoria Smith (who was her primary caregiver) and husband JB Gusler; Michael Allen Young and wife April and Preston John Young; One special granddaughter, whom she dearly loved, Alexandra Young; Two sisters, Betty Zane Kabara, and Margaret Eunice Zuliani; Several nieces and nephews; The family would like to thank Louvenia Dodson who Jane thought of as a sister and was also a caregiver. The family has honored Jane's request to be cremated. Memorial services to celebrate the life of Jane Smith will be held at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Cornerstone Family Church on Brick Street, with Pastor Scott Catron officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com. The Smith family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on Athens Road in Princeton, West Virginia.
