Elizabeth Ann George age 65 of Glenwood, West Virginia passed away at Mercer Nursing Home on Friday, August 8, 2025 after a long and hard-fought battle with liver disease. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Audrey Mayberry. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years Joesph George, daughter Jessica Gray and husband Shawn, and her pride and joy-her granddaughter Annabelle George. She is also survived by two brothers, Donald Mayberry (Leona) of Pensacola, Florida, Rodney Mayberry (Debbie) of Bluefield West Virginia, one sister, Connie Saunders (Rick) of Bluefield, West Virginia as well as several nieces and nephews.  Beth had a big heart and had many non-biological children that she loved dearly.  Beth loved to garden and when her health allowed, she loved nothing more than to be in her garden or with animals. Per Beth's wishes  she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held in her honor on August 23rd from 1pm-3pm at Green Valley Fire Station, 9577 Big Laurel Highway, Princeton, WV 24739. In lieu of flowers Beth requested that you would make a donation to the Mercer County Animal Shelter or your local animal shelter.
