Elizabeth Ann Caldwell, 84, of Lerona, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the home of her daughter, Annette with her loving family by her side. Born August 19,1937, in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Buford Riggs and Blanche Thompson Riggs. She was of the Church of God faith; She and her husband, Namon, pastored Bradshaw Church of God for many years; she loved her Lord and Savior. Elizabeth was a devoted ministers' wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had worked in the gift shop at Pipestem State Park for many years. While her health permitted, she loved catering, crafts and doing hair for other people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband's Namon E. Caldwell and James J. Caldwell; two sons, David M. Caldwell and Richard Caldwell along with three siblings, J.B. Riggs, Betty Pate and Charlotte Skelton. Those left to cherish her memory, her loving children, Belinda Caldwell Mangum (Travis), Annette Thomure (Ronald) with whom she made her home, Renee Trimnal (Marty). Ten grandchildren. Seventeen great-grandchildren. Seven siblings, Paul Riggs, Paulette Bradbury, Jack Riggs, Jerry Riggs, Benny Riggs, Nancy Myers and Brenda Kisner; Host of nieces, nephews, step-children, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. A service to honor the life of Elizabeth Caldwell will be held at Noon, April 26, 2022, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Stacey Johnson and Ron Thomure officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Muncy, Brandon Trimnal, John O'Brian, Samuel Johnson, Shawn Caldwell and Duke Testerman. For those unable to attend, her service will be webcasted on our website. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com . The Caldwell family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
