Elizabeth Jean Cahill-Musick, 71, Princeton, died Saturday, January 26, 2025, at home. Born November 13, 1953, at Anawalt, she was the daughter of the late Haynes T. Buchanan & Ruby Jean Blevins Buchanan. She grew up in Beckley and attended Trap Hill High School. She attained a bachelor's degree in accounting from Concord University, and a master's degree from the University of Phoenix. Elizabeth was a Certified Public Accountant.  EJ was granted Emeriti status, for her exceptional service to Concord. While her health permitted, she enjoyed reading, working in her garden, but most of all, her work.  E.J. retired from Concord University in Athens as the CFO & Controller after 21 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Lynn Allen Musick, four siblings, Steve, John, Haynes "Tip" & Michael Buchanan. Survivors include her two children, Becky Manning & husband Scott of Charleston, Brad Cahill & wife Meagan of Princeton, five grandchildren, Emily Morgan Surface, Kayla Ann Surface, Julie Nicole Surface, Elin Joann Cahill & Tori Elizabeth Cahill, one great grandchild Grayson Scott Weatherly. Three siblings, Brian Buchanan, David Buchanan & wife Kathy, & Michael Buchanan. In honoring her wishes, she has been cremated, and a private memorial service will be held.
