Earnest William Davis Sr Born July 1st 1953, in Charleston, WV He was the son of the late Frazier Davis and Mable Whittaker Davis. Earnest Died June 20th, 2025 in Roanoke. Earnest was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School, after high school Earnest joined the Army. He served a total of 18 years and retired as a specialist 4 in 1990 after the Army Earnest worked multiple jobs including truck driver and ordained preacher. Earnest loved God and the church and would do anything for anybody. He loved to be around people Earnest never met a stranger. He is proceeded in death by his father Frazier Davis, mother Mabel Whittaker Davis, brother Michael Davis, sister Joyce Pilkins, and former wife Mary Davis. He is survived by wife Jennifer Davis of Princeton, sister Edna Barber of Princeton, sons Joshua Davis of Princeton, Earnest Davis Jr of Princeton, step son Matthew Bowles of Princeton, grand children David and Kelsey Parker of Princeton, Chase Davis of Princeton, great grand children Bella and Coleson Parker of Princeton, many nieces and nephew and special friends Jessie and Misty Parks, Lisa Barker, and Vanessa Davis. Memorial Services to Celebrate the life of Earnest Davis Sr. will be held on Friday June 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton.
