Obituary

Dwain Weese, 61, of Summit Street, Princeton passed away at his home early Tuesday morning May 30, 2023. Born August 3, 1961, in Princeton, WV. He as the son of Delores (Tootsie) and the late Curtis B Weese.  Dwain attended Princeton Senior High School. While in high school he worked at Grandma G's and mowing yards. Dwain began his long career in Veneer Woodworking. He began at The Dean Company where he started entry level and eventually worked his way into the sales department. Dwain then moved his family to Montoursville Pennsylvania to continue his passion with Keystone Veneers Inc in Williamsport, PA.  This adventure lasted several years and Dwain returned home to West Virginia to work for the Dean Company.   In this position he traveled throughout most of the United States and parts of Africa. He had many stories tell about his travels. Dwain had a love for music and wrote and sold the rights for the song titled "Carrying Your Love With Me" and whenever hearing the song being played on the radio, we all can think of Dwain. Dwain dearly loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and laying in his hammock. Those left to cherish his memory including his mother, are his three beautiful children, Kiley Rae Weese of Southport, NC, Braylon and Skylar Weese of Princeton; Three siblings, Debra Sutphin of Virginia, Allen Weese and wife Vanessa of Virginia and Wendy Knight and husband Philip of North Carolina. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and friends.  A time of Gathering and Sharing will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.
