Obituary

Douglas M. “Doug” Beeman, 75, of Princeton, died peacefully Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born August 20, 1950, at Fort Dix, NJ., he was the son of the late Oscar Monroe Beeman & Dora Hurley Beeman.

Doug graduated from Princeton High School; he entered the service to serve with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Doug had formerly worked in the coal mines and later worked for Robertson Mining Services in Princeton. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Church. Doug loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a great grandson, Easton Stone Gunnoe along with two siblings, Ellen Thomas and Joyce Delp.

Those left to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Charlotte Jane Dickerson Beeman, two devoted children, Amy Mooney & husband Bill, Aaron Beeman & wife Tera, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one brother, Danny Hurley & wife Kristie, and a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends Tim and Vicki Miller.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 P.M. (Noon), Friday, July 17, 2026, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton in the Garden of Apostles with Pastor Bill Scott officiating. Military honors will be given by the Mercer County Honor Guard. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery by Noon.
