Dorothy Elizabeth Epling Burris, 82, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Lindside Healthcare, Lindside, WV. Born September 9, 1944, in Princeton WV, she was the daughter of the late William Clyde Epling, Jr. and Maxine Elizabeth Cooke Epling.

She was a secretary for the School Board located in Palm Beach County, FL. She was of protestant faith. She is survived by a son, David James Burris and brother, Max Epling. Dorothy Elizabeth Epling Burris will be cremated as per her wishes and she will be inurned in Athens Cemetery, in Athens, WV.
