Dora L. (Hylton) Sizemore, 93, of Princeton, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Born February 12, 1931, in Wyoming County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Lilly Bishop Hylton.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and homemaker. Dora loved being outdoors and mowing her yard. She also loved reading and working jigsaw puzzles.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Sizemore, Jr., and her siblings, Donald Hylton, Henry Hylton, Bobby Hylton, Mae Green, Virginia Ward, Sylvia Hill, Sadie Bishop, and Goldie Jacobs.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her children, Harrison (Butch) Sizemore III (Donna), Wanda Sizemore Young (William) and Wayne Sizemore (Donna); Seven grandchildren; Ten great-grandchildren; Seven great-great-grandchildren; One sister, Mary Isom; Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to express a special thank you to Angela Miller and Tim Barton, her caregivers, and also Amedysis Hospice for their excellent care.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Carl Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
