Donald Ray Emmert, 63, of Don Morgan Drive, Princeton, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at WVU-Princeton Community Hospital. Born December 24, 1960, in Welch, he was the son of the late Jacob and Wanda Emmert. Donald was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather and friend. He loved his family, especially spending time with his son and grandchildren. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting and enjoying nature. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene on the Oakvale Road in Princeton. He was a former Juvenile Corrections Officer until he became disabled. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Kristie Akers Emmert; One son, Ryan Jacob Emmert and wife Shannon; Three grandchildren, Brayden, Brycen and Briella; One sister, Connie Bailey and husband, Jeff; numerous nieces and nephews.
