Diane Forbes, 79, of Foster Street, Princeton, died peacefully early Thursday morning, August 17, 2023, at her home with her son by her side. Born November 21, 1943, in Welch, she was the daughter of the late Guy Henry and Hazel Cochran Henry.  Growing up in McDowell County, Diane attended school at Big Creek, after moving to Princeton, she graduated from Princeton High School. She had retired from Pipestem State Park, having worked in the Gift Shop and the Pro Shop for many years. Diane was of the Christian Faith. While her health allowed, she enjoyed working in her garden. She will be remembered for always wearing a smile. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother Jack Henry and a sister Nancy Garzanet. Survivors include one son, Steve Forbes, who was also her caregiver.
