Dennis Michael Oliver, 66, of Elgood, died Sunday, March 12, 2023, at his home. Born January 9, 1957, in Winston-Salem NC, he was the son of the late William Lester Oliver and Agnes Aileen Lee Oliver. Dennis was a professional truck driver, having driven for Cooks Trucking and retiring from BSA Trucking, having traveled from North Carolina to California weekly for many years. He was an avid Ohio State football fan and enjoyed golf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother James Oliver. Survivors include his wife Sharon Kay Parker Oliver; Four children, Timothy Michael Oliver (Kristine), Joshua Paul Oliver (Jennifer), Dennis Caleb Oliver (Erica) and Elizabeth Ashley Pollard (Jacob); Eight grandchildren and one on the way. Two siblings, Don Oliver (Linda) and Richard Oliver (Lou). Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Fathers House International Church in Brushfork with Pastors Doyle Bradford and Richard Oliver officiating. Following his service, the family will honor his request, he will be cremated.  Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
