Delores Jane Beaston, 82, of Bluefield, died early Monday morning, March 24, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. Born December 21, 1942, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Fred Akers & Hallie Hypes Akers. Delores had worked for Kersey Manufacturing, American LaFrance, GIV and retired from CMS.  She loved being outside, spending time in the cabin, mowing grass and her animals.  She loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Beaston, three siblings, Clyde, Cecil & Freddy Akers. Those left to cherish her memory, her son Howard S. Beaston & wife Renee, one grandson Austin White & fiancé Kristin Salyers, five great grandchildren, Kyler, Ashton, Luca, Freya & Sevastian. One brother, Clifton Akers & wife Juanita. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Howard Finkle officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
