It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dawlton Dale Blankenship, whose life was taken far too soon. Though his time with us was brief, the love he shares and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him forever.

Dawlton was the beloved son of Ann Elizabeth Asbury and the late Hank Russell Blankenship. He was the cherished brother to Kolt Austin Blankenship, Hank Russell Blankenship Jr., Hank Russell Blankenship III, & Harley May Blankenship. His family was the center of his world, and nothing more important than spending time with the people he loved.

A hardworking & determined man, Dawlton approached life with dedication and pride. He had a creative spirit and a passion for designing his own shoes, expressing his creativity reflected the individuality that made him so special.

Those who knew Dawlton will remember his kind heart, his loyalty to his family and friends and his willingness to be there whenever someone needed him.

Dawlton will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His love, strength and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jason Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:30 until service time.
