David Wayne Lilly, 71, of Pipestem, died Monday, May 11, 2026, at New River Valley Medical Center.

Born May 25, 1954, in Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Arnold Ray Lilly & Mary Lee Williams Lilly.

David graduated from Bradley County High School in Cleveland, TN and retired as manager in the corrugated industry. While his health allowed, he enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard, and enjoying his grandbabies.

Survivors include his two children & spouses, Jeremy & Katie Lilly, Amanda & Randy Honea Jr., seven grandchildren who he loved dearly, Payton Lilly, Averie Lilly, Cory Lilly, Riley Honea, Abigail Lilly, Kane Lilly, & Christopher Drew Lilly. Two brothers, Mitch Lilly & Kenneth Lilly.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton. Burials will follow in the Neely Cemetery at Pipestem.
