Darrell Eugene "Geno" Richardson, 76, of Princeton, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, May 20, 2025, at his home with his loving and devoted wife by his side. Born August 6, 1948, in Princeton, he was the son of the late Clenon D. "Slim" Richardson & Thelma "Nannie Jo" Hedrick Richardson. Geno was a self-made businessman, being the owner/operator of Ingleside Repair Inc. in Princeton for 33 years. Geno was a faithful and devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Harrison Street in Princeton. Geno loved being outside, especially playing with his toys. He loved anything with four wheels and a motor, it was not unusual to find Geno on a backhoe, end loader, forklift, tractor or his lawn mower. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by two brothers Johnny Richardson & Scotty Richardson. Those left to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Donna Prinzbach Richardson; Brothers, Dean & Sharon Richardson, Ronnie & Dreama Richardson, Charles Richardson, Jimmy & Debbie Richardson, Jerry & Elaine Richardson; Sister-in-law, Terry Richardson along with a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. A special Sister Paula Ugoo Ude. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Harrison Street in Princeton with Celebrant Father Sebastian Devasya with whom Gene loved and enjoyed spending time with officiating. Following his service, his urn will be placed in a Niche' at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton. Friends may visit with the Family on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the church.
