Danny E. White (Bull), 79, of Mt. Jackson Heights, Athens, West Virginia was carried into the arms of his loving savior Sunday, August 27th, 2023. Danny was born February 28, 1944, in Elgood, WV and graduated from Athens High School in 1962 where he played varsity basketball and met his wife of 57 years, Joyce A White. After high school he went on to work as en electrician for over 40 Years.  He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local Union No. 466. Danny was baptized at Mt. Jackson church where he served as a member for several years. He always looked forward to Sunday mornings when he would drive into town to get that cup of coffee and catch up with friends at the Deli Mart. He enjoyed watching WVU football and rehashing the game afterwards with his grandson Brandon, and seeing who could finish the crossword puzzles first from the daily paper, him or his wife Joyce. Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce A White, father, Louis White, mother, Anna Lee White, and sisters Carolyn White Granger and Jennifer White Dent. Left to cherish his memory, his three daughters, Regina Conner of Princeton, WV, Kimberly Hodges and husband Richard of Chilhowie, VA, and Carrie White of Bristol, TN; six grandchildren, Katelyn Lester and husband Brandon, Aaron Connor, Madison Hodges, Emily Hodges, Grace Sopsher, and Elizabeth Hodges; four great grandchildren, Isabella Delida, Hannah Lester, Kolton Lester, Dalton Lester and a host of nephews and nieces.  Services to celebrate the life of Danny White will be held 5:00 P.M. Thursday, August 31, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor David White officiating. Following the service, the family will honor Dannys' request, to be cremated. Friends may visit with the family Thursday  from 4:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
