Daniel Glenn Ellison Jr., 42, of the Gardner Road, Princeton, went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 1, 2026, at Princeton Community Hospital from injuries received from an automobile accident. Born February 15, 1984, in Princeton, he was the son of Nancy Carol Wimmer Ellison of Bluefield VA & the late Daniel Glenn Ellison Sr. Daniel graduated from Mercer Christian Academy in 2002 and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Concord University. He was the former CFO of the Bluestone Health Clinic in Princeton, WV. Daniel was a loving father, husband, son brother and uncle who will be missed deeply by his friends and family. His son Jaxson was his pride and joy and he was so excited for the upcoming birth of his baby girl Livvy. Daniel loved the outdoors, the Washington Redskins, football & basketball, coaching his son, and making everyone around him laugh. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Elbert & Patty Wimmer, John & Audrey Ellison and a niece, Karsyn Belt. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother Nancy are his wife Brittany Leannea Lester Ellison, son, Jaxson Daniel Cole Ellison, a daughter soon to be born, Livvy, two sisters, Kelly Beth Ellison Belt, Laura Leanne Crawford & husband Dustin, and nephews & nieces Gavin, Maverick, Layla, Sophia, Avery, Karly, Blake & Beau. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Rick Setser officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Presley, Dustin Crawford, Chris Shortt, Chris Addair, Jeff Venable, Colby Jones, Daniel East, Kent McBride.
