Cyrus Mack Stovall, 95, of Camp Creek, died late Friday evening, July 24, 2026, at Heritage Hall Rich Creek VA. Born July 16, 1931, in Spanishburg, he was the son of the late Arlie Stovall & Rena Hypes Stovall.

Mack graduated from Spanishburg High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving with the U.S. Marines. Mack was a former coal miner having worked for Bluestone Coal Company and later retired from the WV Department of Highways as a heavy equipment operator. He was a faithful member of Rich Creek Baptist Church at Spanishburg. While his health was good, Mack was a beekeeper, raised chickens, loved working in his yard, gardening, fishing and listing to gospel music. Most of all, Mack loved his Lord and his family. Maack was the oldest living member of Rich Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lola Marie Stovall, his first wife, Dorothy Brown Stovall, his second wife Hazel Thompson Stovall, along with his six siblings, Rena, Anna Marie, Glen, Charles, & Robert Stovall, Mary Speight and May Keatley.

Survivors include his wife Betty Meadows Stovall, two sons, Cyrus & Karen Stovall, Ronnie & Brenda Stovall, four grandchildren, Eric & Trena Stovall, LeAnn & Eric Rumley, Diana & Nathan Gibson, Steven & Rachel Stovall 10 grandchildren & one great great grandchild along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Rich Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Stovall his grandson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling Cemetery near Spanishburg. Friends may visit with the family Saturday from Noon until the service hour.
