Clarence L. Bay, 74, of Princeton, died early Thursday morning, April 14, 2022, in Beckley. Born November 19, 1947, in Gainesville, FL, he was the son of the late Thomas Bay and Winifred Vanlandingham Bay. Clarence was educated in Gainesville High School and attended Massey Business College. With over 20 years of service with the U.S. Air Force, retiring as TSGT. While serving his country, he earned and received numerous decorations, medals and badges. He was a member of the Ridge View Church of God.  Clarence enjoyed reading and watching television. Survivors include his devoted wife, Ewilda Sheets Bay; Daughter, Evelyn Nance (Richard); Two grandchildren, Elizabeth Martin and Dylan Martin (Lauren); One great-grandson, Joseph; Two brothers, Tillman Bay, Herman Bay (Thelma). Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Sheets Family Cemetery, on the Mt. Olive Road, Lashmeet with Pastor L. A. Farmer officiating. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery where military honors will be given by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.
