Christine Mae Furches who loved to be called "mammy" by her grandchildren departed her loving family with them by her side at her residence in Kegley on Friday night, May 27, 2022. Christine was born December 23, 1956, at her home in Bluewell she was the daughter of the late Herald and Emma Broyles In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Christopher Furches, her brother Michael. Christine Furches was devoted to loving her children and grandchildren. She loved to bake, play cards and dice (and win!),and  to spend time with her family. She had a beautiful voice when she sang and liked to put mayonnaise on everything she ate. She was one of a kind and fought with strength and humbleness until her last breath.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Dennis. Children Ember , Cameron and his wife Misty. Grandchildren Victoria, Daniella, Joshua, Jillian, Kendall, and Caleb. Siblings Eric, Paul, Scott, Carolyn, Brenda, Mary, and Debbie and all her other family and friends. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Christine will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2022, at 7 PM from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory. Friends may visit with the family from 6 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
