Cheryl Lynn Lester, 59, of Tazewell Avenue, Bluefield, gained her wings and went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Cabell Huntington Hospital after an 8th month battle with colon complications.  She fought to the end. Born January 20, 1964, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Edward Allen Lanford and Patricia Gail Hickman Owens. Cheryl worked as a waitress and was a homemaker. She was strong willed, goofy and loving. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Lanford. "Mother, even though I know you are better off, my last moments with you, I will cherish forever. I love you!" Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Heather Anderson and her partner, Kell Mitchell; Granddaughter, Alexis Anderson; Two great-grandchildren, Braxson King and Jessa'lynn Anderson; One brother, Jeffrey Lanford and wife Valerie; Several other relatives also survive.
