Charles Thomas Richardson, 78, of Princeton, died early Monday morning, May 18, 2026, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born May 23, 1947, in Princeton, he was the son of the late Clenon “Slim” Richardson & Thelma “Nannie” Jo Hedrick Richardson.

Charles was a lifelong resident of Princeton. He graduated from Princton High School, following graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy. He was a disabled veteran, who served his country proudly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by brothers, Scotty, Johnny, Gene & Ronnie along with a nephew Kevin Richardson.

He is survived by brothers, Dean & Sharon Richardson of Fallansbee, Jimmy & Debbie Richardson of Princeton, Jerry & Elaine Richardson of Princeton. Sister in laws, Donna Richardson & Drema Richardson both of Princeton, Terri Richrdson of Romney, along with a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon until the service time.
