Charles Millard Reeves, Jr of Welch died Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at the Welch Community Hospital. Born in McDowell County, he was the son of the late Charles Millard Reeves, Sr. and Nellie Reeves. He previously served as a Store Manager in New Jersey and later retired from Jimmy’s supermarket in Roderfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Rose Reeves and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his two sons, John Wayne Reeves and his wife Sharon and Charles M. Reeves, III and wife Lisa, 7 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren. Siblings, Clifford Reeves, Ray Reeves and wife Carol, Delores Snow, Ruth Green and husband Dicky and Carol Osborne also survive.
