Carolyn Dianne Mills, born July 21, 1989, in Bluefield, WV to James E. Mills and the late Kimberly L. Matney, passed June 30, 2026, in Columbia, SC. She was a graduate of Mt. View High School and a dedicated traveling CNA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kimberly Matney, several aunts and uncles, her grandparents, Wayne and Helen Matney, and Ed and Gladys Mills. Left to carry on her memory are her father, James E. Mills; brother, James A. Mills; sister, Natashia Janes, adored nephews, Carl Dean Mullins, James Matney and Leland Owens; special cousins, April Justice and family, Heather Johnson and family, and special aunts, Michelle and Erikca Roberts along with a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, and beloved friends. To honor Carolyn’s love of Stitch and the meaning of Ohana, please feel free to wear your favorite Stitch items. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Memorial Funeral Directory to assist with expenses.
