Carol Ann Godfrey Cisco, 82, of Princeton, died unexpectedly Friday, October 21, 2022, at home. Born, July 16, 1940, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Arthur Dunn and Virginia Amelia Hodges Dunn. She will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Carol retired from Princeton Community Hospital as a Unit Clerk with more than 20 years of service. She was a devout Christian, who loved going to church and reading her Bible. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mason Godfrey, second husband Louis Cisco, her daughter Lavelle Amelia Godfrey and a brother R.C. Dunn. Those left to cherish her memory, include her son, with whom she made her home, Johnny Godfrey and wife Linda; Five grandchildren, Jenny Nester, Teddy Billings, Mandy Godfrey, Lea Morgan and Bryan Tilley; Nine great-grandchildren; Siblings, James "Roger" Dunn (Joyce), Ricky Dunn (Debbie), Ronald Dunn, Roy Dunn Roby Dunn (Anne), Christine Kinzer (Gene) and Gracie Widner Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Carol Ann will he held at 1:00 P.M. Friday. October 28, 2022, from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Connie Lester and Wade Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Friday from 11:00 A. M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Wade Quesenberry, Johnny Quesenberry, James Asbury, Jimmy Slaughter, Hayden Morgan and Bryan Tilley.
