Calvin Ray Redman, 79, of Princeton Health Care on Courthouse Road, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at the facility. Born May 23, 1944, in Moorefield, WV, he was the son of the late Mae Redman. Calvin retired as the Superintendent of the Tate Lohr Fish Hatchery at Pigeon Creek. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his son, Demantis Redman. Left to cherish his memory are his companion of 20 years, Carolyn Melvin; Two daughters, Stacey (Otey) Parker, Tammy Beckwith; One brother, Steven Ford; Several grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 3, 2023, in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Myron Tilley officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in the family cemetery at Moorefield, WV.
