Brian Lee McMichael, 55, of Princeton, passed away Sunday morning, March 17, 2024, at his home. Born July 18, 1968, in Prince George County, MD, he was the son of Arthur Gary McMichael and Edna Faye Meadows McMichael. Brian loved the Lord, loved his family and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1986 graduate of Athens High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army as a Track Vehicle Repairer. After serving in the Army, he went to Forsythe Technical College and graduated as a Diesel Mechanic. He later returned to WV where he worked as a carpenter and home remodeling. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and football.  He was a Raiders football fan.  Brian also enjoyed working on his property as long as he was able with his four-legged side kick, "Coal". Left to cherish his memory include his parents, Arthur Gary McMichael and Edna Faye McMichael of Lerona; One brother, Arthur Lynn McMichael and wife, Lorraine; Two nieces, Amanda Rodriquez and Rebecca McMichael; Two great-nieces, Lilli Payne and Serenity McMichael; One great-nephew, Lelynn Payne all of NC; Several aunts, uncles cousins and friends also survive; His four-legged companion "Coal". Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 21, 2024, from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Brad Starcher and Eugene Hazelwood officiating.  Military rites will be conducted by the WV Honor Guard. Friends may visit with family from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Following the services Brian will be cremated.
