Brenda Luchelle McNeely 74 of Iaeger died Monday, July 20, 2026, at WVU Princeton Community Hospital.

Born in Welch on September 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Calvin McPeak and Lucille Gilkerson McPeak. She retired from the dietary department at Welch Community Hospital after 22 years of service. Brenda enjoyed traveling and playing bingo. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Sister, Linda Tremmel and her husband James, Brothers, Teddy McPeak, Danny McPeak, Carl McPeak, Calvin McPeak, one grandson, Bryan Thompson, Great Nephew, Jonathan Markham and her best friend, Gisela Dale.

She is survived by her husband, Herman Lucille McNeely, Jr.; Five children, Allisha Greene and husband Randall, Michael McNeely and fiancé Jordan, Erica McNeely, Angelina McNeely and Brayden McNeely; Sisters, Libby Selvey and husband Daniel, Karen Dudleson and husband Stanley, Wanda Justice and husband Jonathan and Drema Farmer and husband Dana; Grandchildren, Randall “AJ” Green, Jr. and fiancé Nicki Taylor, Alissa Green and Micah, Madelyn McNeely and Millie McNeely. Great Grandchildren, Leya, Kyzer, Olivia, Kash and Journee; Sisters-in-law, Teresa McPeak and Marie Ferrell. Special Niece and Great Nephew, Lisa and Brion. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Brenda McNeely will be held, Friday, July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Melissa Taylor officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
