Obituary

Bonnie Ann Chambers, 72, of Princeton, went home to meet her Lord and Savior peacefully Wednesday night at her home with her loving family by her side. Born August 30, 1950, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late John and Lula Woodyard Bridges. Bonnie was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1970. She had worked as an Administrative Assistant for Michael Gibson, Attorney at Law and with the Mercer County Commission on Aging. Bonnie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a faithful member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Adam Chambers and her brother John Ray Bridges. Those left to cherish her memory, are her devoted husband William T. "Tommy" Chambers; Children, Angie Crews (Eric), Heather Wood (Eric), Amanda Somboti (Steve) and Courtney Thomas; Seven grandchildren, Jorden Crews and fiancée JeDah Palmer, Nick Crews, Chase Wood (McKenzie), Easton Wood, Ian Collins, Addison Harris and Addilyn Harris; Siblings, June Bailey (David) and Donnie Bridges (Karen). Services to celebrate and honor the life of Bonnie will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor J. P. Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family today (Friday) from 4 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Jorden Crews, Nick Crews, Chase Wood, Ian Collins, Kevin Hamm, Michael Bridges. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
