Bobby Joe White, 64, of Princeton, died peacefully early Saturday morning, July 15, 2023, at his home. Born October 13, 1958, at Ivydale, he was the son of the late Hollie P. White and Aladeen Legg White.

Mr. White served his country proudly with the U.S. Marine Corp, retiring after 20 years of service to his country and loved being a Marine. He was a member of the Hatcher Community Church where he loved to sing. BJ loved to farm, especially raising chickens, horses and gardening. He enjoyed singing in church and his church family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lula Williams and the mother of his children, Judy White.

Survivors include his two children, Richard J. White and wife Charity, James A. White and wife Alice; Four grandchildren, Aurora, River, Summer and Ryan; One great-grandchild Eli; One brother Lloyd White and wife Kay; His 2nd love, Michelle White.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wed, July 19, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Norman Arrington officiating. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Guard.  Following the service, he will be cremated, and inurnment will be in the family cemetery.
