Obituary

Billie Spencer Quesenberry, 79, of Princeton, passed peacefully Tuesday evening, August 20, 2024, at Lindside Health Care in Lindside with her family at her side. Born July 30, 1945, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Ballard & Hazel Guynn Ballard. Billie was a graduate of Princeton High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Doris Ballard, her first husband Benny Spencer and her second husband Jerry Quesenberry. Despite the many hurdles in life, she remains strong in her faith, she was stricken with multiples sclerosis at an early age. Billie always wore a smile on her face, had a warm heart and was always positive in her outlook on life. She was one of five founding members of the Multiple Sclerosis Board of Directors in Mercer County. Billie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Those left to cherish her memory, her children who loved and respected her very much, Ray & Sarah Spencer, Kathy & Rick Shannon, Donna & Jimmy Fleshman, Jenny and Brad Meadows, stepdaughter, Monica & Dave Hamiline, 10 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren. Five siblings; Donna & Roger Carroll, Wayne Ballard, Mike Ballard, Paul Ballard & John Ballard. And her extended family at Lindside Health Care Facility, she loved and appreciated all the love and care given to her over the past nine years. Her family is very appreciative of the love and care given to their mother. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Billie Quesenberry will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with pastor Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Belcher, Matthew Shannon, Mike Ballard, David Spencer, Michael Paul Hazelwood & Trevor Newman.
