On December 18, 2025 Billie J Hylton, her soul and spirit departed the physical body and entered the eternal spiritual fellowship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Billie lived 93 years dedicating her life as a homemaker creating a Christian environment, offering spiritual influence to family, friends and acquaintances. She served the Kingdom of Christ for over 50 years. Her greatest desire is that her family will join her and Kenneth in Heaven. Billie was born September 21, 1932 in Bluefield WV, graduated from Bluefield High School in 1950, and dwelt in Mercer County her entire life. She has been a resident at The Havens, in Princeton, WV for the past three years. Her beloved husband, Kenneth W Hylton of 70 years, preceded Billie in death; and her prayer to be joined with him has been granted. In this we celebrate, though she will be greatly missed. The daughter of Robert Trent and Annie Townley Hypes, Billie was preceded in death by her sisters: Sandra Jane Harman and Carolyn Sue Manning; and brother: Henry 'Bub' Hypes; step-sisters: Marshal Belcher and Lucille Howell; step-brothers: Warren Hypes and James Hypes. Billie is survived by her daughter: Pamela Smith Bladel and husband Tom Bladel of Charlotte NC, and son: Kenneth W Hylton Jr. and wife Donna Barley Hylton of Princeton WV. Her sister: Brenda Hypes Myers of Jordan Valley OR; brother-n-law Ronald Harman of Princeton WV. Grandchildren: Amanda Smith Rowell and husband Kevin of Charlotte NC; Darren W. Smith of Charlotte NC; Joshua M Smith and wife Britney of Bluefield VA; Samuel I Hylton and wife Chasidy of Princeton WV. Great Grandchildren: Savanna and Katelin Rowell of Charlotte; Elliot and Ezekiel Smith, Emma and Lanie Halstead of Bluefield VA; Zaidyn I Hylton of Princeton WV. The Celebration of Life for Billie will be at Memorial Funeral Directory, located on the Athens Road, Princeton WV on Friday, January 2, 2026; officiated by evangelist Tony Reed. Friends may visit from 12 noon to 1:00PM, service will begin at 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Princeton WV. In lieu of flowers, Billie would want donations made to her favorite charities: St Jude, Shriners, Wounded Warriors and Tunnel to Towers.
