Beulah Harvey Jones, 94, of Lexington, SC, formerly of Athens, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. She was born on February 29,1928, in Elgood, WV she was the daughter of the late Homer Franklin Harvey and Hattie Annabelle Akers Harvey. Beulah was a member of Mt. Jackson Church in Athens. She moved to Lexington in 2000 to be near her daughter and son-in-law and lived with them for the past three years. She was loved by her family and friends and was known for her sweet spirit and kindness. She was also admired for her beautiful and intricate needlework. A leap year baby, Beulah loved to tell her doctors and friends that she was much younger than they were at only 23 years old as of her last "real" birthday. She will be greatly missed but leaves all who knew her with wonderful memories. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Carl (Buck) Jones, two brothers, Cecil and Donzie Harvey, and two sisters, Emma Jones and Annabelle Meadows. Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Bill Jennings of Lexington, SC; One sister, Betty Heineman; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
