Betty Bernice Massie, 56, of Crockett's Cove Road, Wytheville, VA, died Thursday, September 28, 2023, at LewisGale Hospital in Pulaski, VA. Born November 29, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Brunk and Patty Holdren Whitrow. Betty worked as the Manager of Wendy's in Wytheville where she enjoyed working with her co-workers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rick Massie. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Jonathan Hazelwood and wife Kayle, Sharon Hazelwood and companion Jesse Hylton & Mark Hazelwood; Four grandchildren, Aubrey, Kenize, Skylar and Cordell; One sister, Gloria Jones and husband Ronald; Two brothers, David Brunk & Mike Brunk and companion Mary. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Betty has been cremated.
