Betsy Jane Hodges 73 of Princeton died Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. B orn May 3, 1950, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Miller Fasick and Mary Louise Garrettson Fasick. A graduate of Bermudian Springs High School (PA), Betsy attended Concord College in Athens, West Virginia, and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Education degree. Betsy later attained her Master's degree in early childhood development from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. As an elementary school teacher, Betsy worked for the Mercer County Board of Education for more than thirty years. Betsy served her community as a Friend of the Princeton Public Library and was a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) in West Virginia. Survivors include her husband Joseph E. Hodges; Brother, Garry Fasick (Dorothy) and brother Harry Fasick, Jr. (Valli). Funeral services to celebrate the life of Betsy Hodges will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 28, 2023, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Butch Damewood officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
