Barbara Jean Taylor, 70, of Bluefield, died peacefully early Thursday morning, June 18, 2026, at her home.

Born April 22, 1956, in Clintonville, she was the daughter of Evelyn Darby Brant of Warrenton, VA and the late James Wickline.

Barbara had worked for the U.S. Government, was a seamstress and last worked at Rose’s. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed watching the birds.

In addition to her father, she was preceded by three siblings, David, James & Lynn Wickline.

Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her mother Evelyn, two children, Christina Miranda & husband Joe,  Miranda & Brian Taylor. Four grandchildren, Ethan Present & wife Dixie-Rose, Bella Miranda, Shianna Miranda & Niah Miranda and two step-grandchildren, Colten & Caley Miranda. One great grandchild, Willow-Jai Present. Two sisters, Katherine Long & Teresa Barlow, and her four-legged companion, her dear friend Missy.

A time of sharing and gathering will be held Monday, June 22, 2026, from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton. The family is honoring Barbara’s wishes; she will be cremated. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com
