Barbara Jean Fox, 73, of Pipestem, died peacefully Monday, November 4, 2024, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born February 7, 1951, at Bellepoint, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Harold Turner and Florence Virginia Tyler Turner.

Barbara was a graduate of Hinton High School and had attended college for a short period of time. She had worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons for twenty-two years of service. Barbara loved working in her yard, enjoyed mowing her grass, going to the beach, but first and foremost, she loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children, Angela Hopkins, Lori Fox and Michael Fox; Eleven grandchildren, Drew, Beth, Parker & Hudson, Maddy, Karigan & Ryan, Destiny (Cade), Lexis, London & Bella; Two sisters, Marsha Gonzalez and Janet Adkins.

The family has honored her wishes, she has been cremated and there will be no services.
