Arlene "Faye" Woolridge, 93, of Bluefield, went to her heavenly home, Monday, October 9, 2023, at her home. Born October 28, 1929, at Puritan Mines, Mingo County, WV. She was the daughter of the late Gaines A. Garrett and Mary Maynard Garrett. She was a graduate of Beaver High School and had attended McClains Business College. Faye was a member of the Greenview United Methodist Church for 73 years. Faye loved to travel with her senior friends on bus tours all over the country. She loved being with her whole family together whether it was dinners, canning days or vacations. Myrtle Beach and Pigeon Forge were her favorite places. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Jessie K. Woolridge, two sons, George K. Woolridge and Thomas E. Woolridge, and a brother Fred Garrett. Those left to cherish her memory, her son Ronald (Karen) Woolridge, Four grandchildren; Lori (Joe) Brinkley, Jessica (Chris) Holdren, Aaron (Krysten) Bowman and Jacob (Jade) Bowman, Five Great grandchildren; Addyson Brinkley, Brayden and Christian Holdren, Lilly and Henry Bowman. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 12, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Minister Joe Brinkley officiating.  Burial will follow in Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Green Valley. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
