Anita Lynette Clark, 67, of Twin Pine Lane, Princeton, died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital. B orn October 13, 1955, in Welch, she was the daughter of the late Otis Lee Earls, and Edith Irene Johnson Earls. Anita was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a 1973 graduate of Princeton High School and had graduated from Bluefield College and was a member of the Sandlick United Methodist Church. Anita had worked for First Community Bank, for Ramey's as the Manager of the Finance Department and for the last 8 years, she worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways in Administration/Support. Anita was devoted to her family and they always came first. She cared for her elderly parents in their final years and made sure they had the best quality of life possible. She loved her family unconditionally and stood by each of them when they needed her. Her two sons were her pride and joy. She was so proud of them and the fine men they had become . She especially adored and loved her two grandchildren. Just the mention of their name brought a big smile to her face, they brought her great joy. Together she and John built a life full of great love and respect for one another. She enjoyed crafting, bird watching and going to the beach. Her yard was full of beautiful flowers that she had grown and was proud of them. Anita was very friendly and personable. She was a friend to all and sought to see the good in everyone. Anita was a giving person and never wanted to see anyone in need. She helped as many people as she could and never asked for anything in return. She had a true servant's heart. Anita was brave and courageous and fought her battle with cancer with dignity and grace. The family would like to thank Dr Todd Smith and the other amazing healthcare professionals who cared for her. Anita touched many lives and she will live on in the hearts of those that loved her forever. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 47 years, John Lee Clark; two sons, Brent (Becca) Clark, Justin (Janaye) Clark; two grandchildren, Aurora "Rory" and Morgan Asher; sister, Melanie (Joe) Snyder; and two nephews, Joe and Logan. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, "Itzy". Funeral services to celebrate the life of Anita Clark will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 15, 2022, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Melody Rickman and Billy Lykins officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Following her services, Anita will be cremated.
