Alice L. Jones, age “forever 29”, of Bluefield, died unexpectedly Friday morning, June 19, 2026, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born May 24, 1950, in Welch, she was the daughter of the late Harry Labroski & Juanita Guess Labroski. Alice graduated from Northfork High School, she grew up in Maybeury and spent the majority of her life living in Bluefield. Alice worked for many years at RJ Mine Service and was the owner/operator of Bluestone Interiors in Bluefield, Va. Alice was a wife, mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great grandmother. She lit up every room with her vibrant personality and was a generous giver. Alice enjoyed traveling and listening to a variety of bands with her husband. She raised her son to be a caring and loving father to her many grandchildren. Those grandchildren will always love her and remember her as Grandma Alice and will try to carry on her long legacy of cool cars and a lead foot. Alice will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Ronnie Jones, brother Pete Labroski. Those left to cherish her memory, her loving husband Chris Newsom, son Jamie Clark & wife Karen, grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Andrew L. “AJ” Clark IV & wife Jessi, Jacob Clark, Daniel Clark & wife Morgan, Emma Clark & Samuel Clark, and a great grandchild to arrive in September. Brother Nick Labroski & wife Kim and their sons Nicholas & Josh. Two devoted friends who worked for Alice for many years, Rebecca Barry & James Shrewsbury. In her final act of giving, she became an organ donor for those waiting for a better quality of life. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated with no service.
